Our company is expanding with AI conversation tool and is increasing its digital presence and seeks student support to strengthen how we show up online. The focus of this project is to enhance visibility through digital marketing activities, including improving our search engine performance and optimizing how we appear in online searches.
Project Scope and Expectations
Students will gain hands-on experience in digital marketing by helping establish a foundation for our SEO and AEO efforts. Over the course of the project, activities may include:
- Conducting a baseline review of our current online presence and identifying opportunities to improve visibility.
- Researching and suggesting keywords and search terms relevant to our company and industry.
- Recommending initial SEO and AEO strategies that could be implemented.
- Creating a small set of sample optimized content (for example, reworking 2–3 website descriptions or drafting social media posts).
The project is designed to be exploratory, giving students the chance to connect classroom concepts with real-world applications while producing tangible outputs our team can use as a starting point.
Final Deliverables
- A short summary of their findings on our current digital presence.
- A brief list of recommended starter SEO/AEO actions.
- One or two sample pieces of optimized content (e.g., a short webpage description or a draft social media post).

By completing this project, students will:
- Practice applying SEO and AEO basics to a real business.
- Gain experience reviewing digital content and suggesting improvements.
- Develop skills in creating simple, optimized marketing materials.
